First, it’s going to be FUN. But, let me tell you why I wanted to be a part of this. You know I’m a HUGE champion of helping others gain confidence with their Cricut (or any cutting machine for that matter) and that aligns with the mission of this event.
The Cricut Craftfest is not just another virtual event – it’s THE event if you are a crafter who owns a Cricut! Seriously, I fangirled when I saw the speaker list. I already have my list of workshops I’ll be watching!

It’s a FREE virtual event happening October 2 – 6th with 50+ inspiring Cricut projects taught by experts for all skill levels!
You can access up to 10 classes per day in a 24-hour on-demand format. Q: What Cricut machine do I need for the Holiday Cricut Craftfest?
A: The Holiday Cricut Craftfest features all the current Cricut machine models: Cricut Explore Air 2, Explore 3, Maker, Maker 3, and the Cricut Joy machine. The beauty of the event is that nearly all the craft workshops will work seamlessly with the various Cricut models, with a couple of exceptions.
The Cricut Joy machine faces a few size limitations for certain crafts, but several specific workshops feature just the Cricut Joy to help owners of various machines.
There are a few maker-specific crafts during the event, such as our engraving workshop and wood workshop. Other than that, all the workshops can be followed with all the current models of Cricut machines!
Q: What types of projects will I learn at the Holiday Cricut Craftfest?
A: We’ve worked hard to bring you a wide variety of projects for this event while staying focused on helping even beginners understand the basics of each craft. You will find the following topics taught during the event.
- Vinyl projects for signs, cup and candle wraps, screen printing
- Iron-on projects such as ornaments, pot holders, wine bags
- Infusible Ink for shirts and mugs
- Paper crafts such as cards, gift bags, gift card holders, 3D boxes, and paper houses
- Wood-cutting and wood-burning projects
- Fabric crafts
- Leather crafts
- Engraving
- Print then cut projects such as stickers and labels
- And so much more!
A: Typically, workshops run for about 20-40 minutes. Our speakers will cover setting up the project in Cricut Design Space and the complete assembly process. All of the presenters have generously provided templates for their crafts, which will be cost-free during the FREE 24-hour viewing period provided for each workshop.
