It’s hard to believe it’s been an entire year since we started doing these Mystery Box Challenges. The first one in March of 2020 was actually the last video I completed before Finn was born, so I’ll never forget it.
This time around, my box came from Jessica (Jessica Lynn at Home) and I sent a box to Nicole (The Weeks Nest DIY).
Jessica did a great job putting together this box, and I had a great time creating decor from it.
THE MYSTERY BOX CHALLENGE: THE RULES
Each crafter gets a name – I got Nicole (The Weeks Nest DIY) – and you go shopping for supplies to fill a box. This time around, you could spend $15-$20 at any store. I did a mixture of Dollar Tree and Hobby Lobby (my favorite places to get craft supplies), and I selected 2 challenge items she had to use. Then I shipped it off to her.
Jessica sent me a box (watch the video below to see what was inside) and then I had to craft with the contents. I always try to use everything in the box (it’s a great challenge for me) and we all also had to incorporate a non-perishable food item into our challenge items. Yikes!
However, I’m proud to report, I was successful in all the challenges. Check out my projects below and then the full video to see how these Michaels clearance DIYs and Dollar Tree crafts came together.
