Hi craft buddy!

First, I can’t believe I’m sitting down to chronicle Finn’s first Birthday party – where has the time gone? With 2020 being a year like no other, I’m not surprised time went that fast, but it’s still crazy!

To celebrate his birthday, we decided to do a DIY Bluey-themed Birthday Party to celebrate with close family and friends. I made DIY Bluey Cupcake Toppers, Large Bluey and Bingo cutouts, and I also baked and decorated a healthier version of a smash cake.

Please watch the video below to get the full effect, and I’ll share all the links below that will be helpful to you if you are looking for tips on how to throw a DIY Bluey Birthday party with Bluey Birthday party decorations.

To keep the party manageable for me, I focused on a few key details. The first is the decor and the second is the treats (that could double as decor).

For the cupcakes, I created some adorable cupcake toppers (full tutorial in the video) and displayed them on this cute tiered tray I found a Marshalls for only $20 – score! The 1 candle is from Walmart.

I also created these cutouts with my Cricut and they brought it all together, I’m very proud of those and Finn loved them! I’ll also show you in the video how I created the monthly image banner hanging on the fireplace.

Thank you for all your support and love throughout Finn’s first year – we can’t thank you enough. Your support of Whiskey & Whit helps support our family and I’m so thankful!
