Hey craft buddies! It is officially Christmas crunch time, and if you’re anything like me, you’re juggling wrapping gifts, hosting, cooking, baking, decorating, school events, and trying to keep your house from becoming a festive disaster zone. So in today’s post, I’m walking you through all the Dollar Tree Christmas hacks I shared in my latest video — because these seriously save time, money, and SO much sanity this time of year.

I packed this video with gift wrapping hacks, hosting tips, organization ideas, DIY Christmas ornaments, quick gifts, kitchen shortcuts, and smart storage tricks, all using Dollar Tree items or things you already have at home. If you want the free printables mentioned, like my dinner & dishes tags, elf banner, and mason jar shaker ornament templates, you can grab them in my Free Craft File Library.

Gift Wrapping + Packaging Hacks

I kicked things off with one of my biggest pain points: losing the scissors and tape every five minutes while wrapping. The simple trick of tying them together with ribbon or twine is truly a game changer. I also shared a super easy way to keep tablecloths from sliding around during parties using masking tape and double-sided tape — nothing gets ruined and everything stays put.

If you need quick gifts, Dollar Tree paper plates + napkins + my free “Dinner & Dishes” printables make the cutest last-minute present paired with a gift card. I also shared how to wrap both small and large gifts using a folded pocket technique, how to curl ribbon in the oven to make adorable corkscrew embellishments, and how to make gift bags look fancy with my tissue paper “bouquet” method.

Hosting + Holiday Guest Hacks

My Wi-Fi password printable inside a Dollar Tree frame is such a simple hack that guests absolutely love. I also shared how I use vacuum storage bags to protect my serving trays and dishes from dust and grime after the holidays — a total storage upgrade for just a few dollars.

DIY Christmas Ornaments

I made shaker-style mason jar ornaments using my free template, faux snow, and photos of your kids or pets — these sparkle beautifully on the tree. I also turned little toys into mini snow globe ornaments, which are so fun for kids to help with.

Elf-Themed Dining Room Hacks

This year, my family is doing an elf-themed dining room, so I made oversized Dollar Tree doily snowflakes and a “Welcome Santa” banner inspired by the movie Elf. The doily snowflakes fold flat, which makes them great for storing and reusing next year.

Christmas Morning Sanity Savers

I shared how I use a giant gift sack as a “just in case” trash bag so nothing valuable gets thrown out accidentally. I also use labeled bins to corral the boys’ toys after opening gifts, and a Dollar Tree organizer filled with scissors, batteries, tape, screwdrivers — all the stuff you always need on Christmas morning.

Baking + Kitchen Hack

My butter-softening trick with a hot glass cup is one I use all season long. It works perfectly for butter, cream cheese, or anything that needs to soften fast.

Dollar Tree DIY Crafts

Fake snow and clear quick-cover paper turned into adorable shaker ornaments featuring my kids, grandparents, pets, or anyone special. I also made nostalgic salt-dough keepsake ornaments — handprints, footprints, cookie-cutter shapes, gingerbread men with photo inserts — and even coated them with UV resin to make them pop.

Quick Treat Gifts

I made easy chocolate pops using Rudolph chocolate pieces and melting chocolate. These look adorable paired with gift cards or added to holiday treat bags.

If you’re in the thick of the holiday hustle, I hope these Dollar Tree Christmas hacks help you work smarter, not harder — and bring some fun back into your crafting, gifting, and celebrating this season!
