It’s hard to believe it’s been an entire year since we started doing these Mystery Box Challenges. The first one was actually the last video I completed before Finn was born, so I’ll never forget it. Check out the end of this post to see my other mystery box videos in the same style.
This time around, my box came from Kristin – Kristin Kay and I sent a box to Courtney – Creative on the Cheap.
Kristin did a great job putting together this box, and I had a great time creating decor from it.
THE MYSTERY BOX CHALLENGE: THE RULES
Each crafter gets a name – I got Courtney – and you go shopping for supplies to fill a box. This time around, you could spend $15-$20 at any store. I did a mixture of Dollar Tree and Hobby Lobby (my favorite places to get craft supplies), and I selected 2 challenge items she had to use. Then I shipped it off to her.
Kristin sent me a box ( watch the video below to see what was inside) and then I had to craft with them. I always try to use everything in the box (it’s a great challenge for me) and we all also had to incorporate a popsicle stick into our crafts.
I’m proud to report, I was successful in all the challenges. Check out my nine projects below and then the full video to see how these Hobby Lobby DIYs and Dollar Tree crafts came together.
