If it feels like the summer just started—you’re not wrong—but in the world of retail, it’s already time for back to school shopping, Fall Decor 2025, and even Halloween Decor 2025. Whether you’re excited or not-so-patiently waiting for spooky season (hi, fellow Code Orange fans), I’ve been making the rounds to all the major stores to see what’s hitting shelves early and what’s worth grabbing before it’s gone. Because if we’ve learned anything in the last few years, it’s that the best stuff never sticks around long.
In this haul, I’m sharing what I found during my recent marathon of shopping trips for back to school shopping 2025—including picks for my boys and for my craft room. From Walmart back to school finds to Target back to school finds, I found some amazing storage solutions, classroom-themed decor, and teacher gift ideas you’ll want to snag now. I also found great deals on seasonal goodies at Dollar Tree, Michaels, and Hobby Lobby—and I’ll break down what’s worth buying now and what to skip.
If you’re shopping for a little guy like I am (Finn’s heading to kindergarten this year—cue the tears 🥹), you’ll especially love the back to school shopping boys section with fun lunch box finds, books to ease the transition, and gift ideas for their friends and teachers.
We also dipped our toes into fall and Halloween at stores like HomeGoods, Marshalls, and TJ Maxx. They’ve officially kicked off HomeGoods Fall and Halloween 2025 with everything from Mickey pumpkins to Summerween mashups and Pottery Barn-style dupes. If you’re a Disney fan or collecting Halloween early, this is your time!
Don’t miss the Dollar Tree staples (yes, the holy grail containers are back), the fall ribbon and silicone pouches at Hobby Lobby, or the adorable classroom banners and scalloped sticky notes from Target. And for my fellow Christmas lovers, I also included a few early keepsake ornament finds that are perfect for craft room trees or nostalgic collections.
There’s a lot to see in this video and post, so make sure to check the full haul for inspiration and ideas you can use now—and year after year. And if you’re kiddos are headed back-to-school, be sure to check out my video full of DIYs and printables to celebrate!
And as always, let me know what your favorite find was—I love hearing what caught your eye!
