August is one of my favorite months—not just because it’s my birthday, but because it officially kicks off fall DIY season here on my channel. I packed this video with cute fall DIYs, affordable home decor hacks, and a ton of fall inspiration to help you get your space cozy and festive without breaking the bank.

This time of year, I’m all about making high-end looks on a budget. Whether it’s turning Dollar Tree finds into statement pieces or recreating those pricey Pottery Barn or Kirkland’s items for way less, I love showing how easy it is to get the look for less. In this video, I walk through a ton of dollar tree fall DIYs that are beginner-friendly, customizable, and easy to adapt to your own style or color palette.

One thing I focused on this season is texture and layering. I used everything from wood and felt to papier-mache and Mod Podge to create that cozy, collected look. You’ll see how I add texture to printed art to fake the look of a real painting, how I give pumpkins a stone finish using baking soda and coffee grounds, and how I layer garlands, banners, and lights for big impact on a small budget.

There are tons of easy fall DIYs in this video—from wreaths and porch signs to faux whipped cream pumpkin pie slices and reversible signs you can leave up through Thanksgiving. I even included a few fall DIY arts and crafts that are fun to do with kids or grandkids, like felt pie garlands and beaded banners. And for my fellow Cricut crafters, there are several free SVG files you can grab and use right away.

If you’re looking for fall DIY projects to decorate your front porch, living room, kitchen, or even your dog’s collar (yes—there’s a no-sew bandana project in here too), you’ll find ideas you can try. I also included some DIY fall and Halloween decor that you can easily swap as the season transitions. It’s a great mix of cute fall DIYs and more neutral decor that works beyond October.

Most of the supplies in this video came from affordable places like Dollar Tree, Hobby Lobby, Walmart, and Lowe’s. I always recommend shopping your stash first, and I love sharing ways to use what you already have in new, creative ways. You don’t need fancy tools to do these projects either—there are plenty of simple builds using basic supplies and tricks that make them approachable for any level.

If you’re ready to dive into fall DIY decor ideas and start crafting, be sure to check out the full video on my YouTube channel. Fall is just getting started, and I can’t wait to keep creating with you all season long!
